Here you'll find my qualifications, what to expect from my lessons, along with ways to get in touch. As a musician, my day-to-day work includes teaching guitar, performing at gigs, and recording sessions. I also make guitar cover videos for my Instagram and YouTube channel.

在2023年，我很榮幸能考獲由 RSL Rockschool 頒發的電結他演奏級專業文憑，這是一項來自英國、在香港及國際間皆具認受性的專業資格。配合我之前亦已經考獲的木結他以及烏克麗麗的八級考試，這讓我能夠給予學生們各種樂器和音樂風格的選擇，並根據每位學生各自的目標和興趣，去提供適合他們的課程。I hold a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Electric Guitar Performance from RSL Rockschool, a respected UK-based certification recognized both in Hong Kong and internationally. I’ve also completed Grade 8 exams in Acoustic Guitar and Ukulele, this allows me to offer lessons across multiple instruments and music genres, tailored to each student’s goals and interests.

我的課堂主要圍繞以下三個範疇:

技術上的彈奏是指學員彈奏這件樂器所需要認識的技巧，包括對節拍上的理解，手指技巧上應該如何操縱，左右手的正確姿勢、協調等。彈奏技術的建立是課堂的學習核心，我會根據學員的彈奏年期和程度安排不同種類的教學內容。而樂理是指這件樂器在音樂上的邏輯理論，透過這些理論，我們可以把一首歌曲裡學到的東西，轉移到另一首歌曲裡應用，以及運用到其他樂器上。而在創作上來說都會大有幫助。採譜（Transcription）是指在沒有任何現成樂譜輔助的情況下，把一首純用耳朵聽到的歌曲裡的和弦、樂句記錄下來，並編寫成樂譜。這是需要有一定音樂基礎的學員才能慢慢駕馭。而在我們的課堂裡，我們可以透過剖析不同歌曲的例子，解釋貫穿在裡面的樂理結構，去帶領學員去完成用耳朵採譜這個過程。

Technical playing refers to the core skills needed to play the instrument confidently, from understanding rhythm and timing, to developing finger control, proper posture, and coordination between both hands. These techniques form the foundation of each lesson, and I tailor the content based on each student’s experience level and musical background.Music theory provides the musical foundation that helps us understand how songs are built and connected. With this knowledge, students can transfer what they’ve learned from one song to another, apply it across different instruments, and even use it to support their own songwriting.Transcription is the process of writing down chords and musical phrases by ear, without relying on existing sheet music. It’s a skill that requires a solid musical foundation and can be developed gradually. In our lessons, we break down examples from different songs to explore the underlying theory, guiding students through the process of transcribing music by ear.
